Wild boar spreading through wales

Recommended Posts

There is/was wild boar in Chopwell woods near Gateshead but I’ve never heard of them crossing the river over to the Newcastle side.

There are a couple of herds of wild goats further north around the Wooler area.

Be nice to see more wild boar and wild goats up here.

Cheers.

They’re a feckin menace here. Normally in the mountains they stay away. You can hear them but they normally give berth around the camp. When staying on the beach though, they’re more accustomed to people, so will come real close and seriously go for you if you piss them off in some way

For some reason feral pigs are increasing in numbers around the globe, that's why they need hunters with dogs.

Are they still hunted regular  in Oz with dogs? I know few years ago  was lot lads  over there doing go job on them with well bred pig dogs. The mastiffs x danex ebt were coupler. And few lads  running them with pitx acds on pigs.

Seen the goats few times charts think they do well until a hard winter that keeps numbers in check
