I think Inheritance Tax is one of the most egregious taxes there is. If someone works and pays Income Tax, invests wisely and pays tax on their dividends, pays tax on the interest their money in

You would have enjoyed it @DIDO.1 we saw a couple of upper class countrywear tweed type shops and ended up in a pub where we were offered pink lemonades by some friendly gentlemen I thought were a bik

Well I did get an answer from the nearest Labour MP.  This generic load of shit.   Thank you for your message.   Yesterday, I voted with the Government to convert the Winter Fuel Paym

They aren’t “chipping away “ at them mate; they are going to destroy family owned farms.
Up to now, farms and agricultural land had zero rated Inheritance Tax, meaning a farmer could pass on his farm to his children when he died.
Now Labour has put 20% Inheritance Tax on farms and agricultural land.

Family farmers are normally asset rich, ( land, buildings, equipment, stock, etc), but cash poor.

Now if a farmer dies his family won’t have the cash to pay the “death duties” and will have to sell up to pay the tax.
Big business will buy up the land, leave it fallow or put trees on it to offset their Eco Taxes, meaning less food grown here and more imports.

It stinks, but hey , who would have though Labour wouldn’t tax everything they could think of …

Cheers.

By "chipping away " I'm meaning they have been making it harder and harder for farmers as the years go on the inheritance tax is just another nail in the coffin.  It's the same old play book from the powers that be they do it gradually little by little until it's to late.

Wouldn't matter if it was Labour tories conservatives or reform the outcome is always the same the play one party against each other and yous fall for hook link and sinker every time arguing over what party's worse when in reality it all ends up with the same results regardless of who's in charge.

when was the last time the normal working man benefited from a government ?

Plenty twists and turns to come mate I actually think Harris will get declared the winner so the people can't deny the cheating that's going on.  It's about to get spicy either way

Here’s one for the conspiracy theorists;

Labour are going to make it impossible for small, family farms to be owned by working class people.

They also passed a little noticed law in the budget reducing the discount on buying your council house, making it even more difficult for a working man to own his own house.

Never mind, Labour MP Emily Thornberry , real name Lady Nuger, bought a council house with full discount then sold it at a huge profit.

Angela Rayner, Labour MP and Deputy Prime Minister, and her husband bought TWO council houses and sold them at a profit.

But now they don’t want us to do it.

Labour Party or Communist Party ? “All property and land will belong to the State”.

Cheers.

Let’s not forget, all coursing events, wether it was The Waterloo Cup for greyhounds or the Forley Cup for Lurchers, were run on farmland and supported by farmers and landowners. Most fox hunts were on farmland aswell.

The Countryside March against the Hunting Act was well supported by land owners, farmers and farm workers, probably more of them than hare coursers, although I may be wrong.

Land owners and farmers are against poachers and trespassers but most certainly aren’t against field sports.

Just my take on it.

Cheers.

I watched the whole Trump podcast today, and I brought home just what deep shit Britain is in……I don’t think it can be put into too stronger terms what is happening in front of our eyes.

We have been cutting chunks out of ourselves with a Stanley knife for years, but at that last election we literally put a shotgun in our mouth and pulled the trigger……we have elected absolute extremists.

It couldn’t be any worse if a foreign nation was marching troops on to the beaches and subjugating the populace…..it is, imho, as bad as that.

Everyone shouted about the tax rise this week……nobody said a word about the fact that they borrowed another £127 billion on top of that tax rise……who did they borrow that from ?…….who pays it back ?

So you all got f****d into oblivion and the banks got hundreds of billions richer……..surely someone has to realise that can never be paid back, we was already £2.5 trillion in the hole…….and if it can’t ever be paid back then the choice is default or slavery !

Every MP for the last 50 years should be put on trial……
