DIDO.1 22,624
Had a woman on stage at the reform meeting. Her family have farmed Earls Farm in Bolton for 300 years. They were originally tenants of lord Derby. The farm was 160 acres. Over the years Bolton council have eaten up the land, leaving them with just the house and 12 acres from which they run a cattery and a straw haulage business. When the council took the last lot of land they promised them a new contract protecting their home and last bit of land. That contract never came. They have now been given their notice to leave their home and land by new years eve. The land is going to be used for social housing The family contacted every politician they could think of locally and nationally. The only one to reply was Nigel Farage. The bolton Reform team are now fighting for them in every way they can. 2

We heard from the reform councillor who won his seat in Blackpool last month. Councillors get 11.5 grand a year...he said he was donating all of it to local OAP charities. Also he's currently out campaigning for his colleague in the next town for a bye election next month, he said three quarters of all doors he's knocked on have promised to vote reform, which is unprecedented. Obviously nothing is guaranteed, but things are moving forward.
