I think Inheritance Tax is one of the most egregious taxes there is. If someone works and pays Income Tax, invests wisely and pays tax on their dividends, pays tax on the interest their money in

You would have enjoyed it @DIDO.1 we saw a couple of upper class countrywear tweed type shops and ended up in a pub where we were offered pink lemonades by some friendly gentlemen I thought were a bik

Nobody buys those machines cash would be my guess, they will all be lease agreement and just be part of yearly expenses.

Like all the machines you see on the road works, all leased.

I watched the whole Trump podcast today, and I brought home just what deep shit Britain is in……I don’t think it can be put into too stronger terms what is happening in front of our eyes.

We have been cutting chunks out of ourselves with a Stanley knife for years, but at that last election we literally put a shotgun in our mouth and pulled the trigger……we have elected absolute extremists.

It couldn’t be any worse if a foreign nation was marching troops on to the beaches and subjugating the populace…..it is, imho, as bad as that.

Everyone shouted about the tax rise this week……nobody said a word about the fact that they borrowed another £127 billion on top of that tax rise……who did they borrow that from ?…….who pays it back ?

So you all got f****d into oblivion and the banks got hundreds of billions richer……..surely someone has to realise that can never be paid back, we was already £2.5 trillion in the hole…….and if it can’t ever be paid back then the choice is default or slavery !

Every MP for the last 50 years should be put on trial……

There was a reason Bliar done away with the treason law.  Reinstate it and start building gallows on parliament square.

If someone works and pays Income Tax, invests wisely and pays tax on their dividends, pays tax on the interest their money in the bank earns, pays capital gains tax on a second property they bought and improved and sold on at a profit, why should they pay tax on what they leave to their children when that money, assets, etc has been taxed many times over already ?

Cheers.

I doubt I’ll reach the threshold to pay Inheritance Tax, but if the threshold stays the same as it is now, with inflation, rise in house prices and pay increases it’s the younger generations that will be affected by fiscal drag taking them into higher income tax brackets and Inheritance Tax liabilities.

Taxes that used to only affect the rich are suddenly on the horizon for the middle and working classes.

Cheers.

No, you just lease or HP it from the dealer, then trade in and get another one.

Straight off the top line mate, don’t make sense for them to buy in cash.

The problem with putting it in a trust is you can’t then borrow against the asset. It’s just a money grab plain and simple.
