Cut a long story short got this sent me . A pheasant head carved out of buffalo horn. So going to send it off to a custom catapult maker to make me a gypsy strod catty hopefully [BANNED TEXT] this as the handle . I think it looks lovely and I’ve seen them finished and look mint as handles.

Yeah I agree. They look great as a catty,  maybe not an everyday shooter. But just nice to have and take out now and again. Just need find someone who will do it now.

Some good catapult groups on their mate probably one of the only reason I go on it and to keep intouch with old mates.

Must admit I like the FB groups. I joined a yank bow hunting group, i don’t post , just like reading the posts . It’s big game hunting with bows. There whitetail deer season has just started and enjoy the hunting trip reports of deer and boar and bears ect.

Same here mate and I envy Matt Redding he lives a free life. My mate knows him and has met him and said he's a really sound lad.
