Blitz or striker which one

Recommended Posts

Funnily enough I’ve just ordered a new lamp !

Ive used the 240 blitz for years and it’s my “go to “ lamp, I think it can’t be beat for lamping hares,  deer, fox , but I’ve just ordered a 140 LED lamp with built in lithium battery for lamping rabbits .
Ive been out with a pal with one for the last two seasons and it does the job.

Depends what you want the lamp for, I guess.

Cheers.

I've had one of those led ones s mate also had one he never charged or used over the summer, charged up before season last year and it went off like two barrels of a shot gun,set fire to the curtains and left a fog of smoke and stink in the kitchen, what battery would u recommend with the 240 blitz

They are dangerous enough,I have one here it's not holding a charge I've charged it twice get a half hour out if it so I'm not chancing it going back to a lightforce just need a decent battery set up I'm done with hardship lol

You do, or the dogs mate? I can spot loads of gear when using LED headlamps. They clearly don't reflect eyes as well but they light up the land a lot better, ideal for a sighthound, no?

They are convenient though pal, get a good few hours out of very small batteries.
