Went for a walk this evening as most of the crops have now been cut and also all the vegetation along the hedgerows has had a good cut which helps shooting and seeing the rabbits clearly, was out for an hour and half before dusk and shot six only five in the picture as number six dived into the veg and could I find it no, it even done a somersault as I nutted it but nowhere to be seen, I also missed three so six for nine shots, I also see two foxes sneaking about.

Popped out again this evening and the weathers cooled right down, wasn’t many rabbits about but I managed two shots two kills, I caught a fox through my scope stalking a pheasant which there seemed to be plenty of, and not particularly good pictures but there was a load of what looked like Canadian Geese but could well be Siberian geese who pay a visit this time of year to feed on the eel grass in the Thames estuary.

I've not been on here for a while. Not a lot of rabbits out my way anymore. Good to see you're using a CZ HMR Varmint. Mine is the 452 and just as accurate after a dozen years.

I’ve owned mine from new and it’s a 452 I’ve had it 15 years it’s still grouping as good as the pic below great reliable gun it’s shot an incredible amount of rabbits.
