It never done me no harm

If dominant is D and recessive is R there is 3 ways they can divide and come together DD DR RR. Good traits are usually dominant. You cant add by inbreeding you can only take away, so you take away th

ive done half brother and sister mating, and son over his mother all pups were fine and good examples of there breed then i out crossed

How long can this lark carry on for u reckon

I dont know if I'll live long enough to tell you. If you were planning on breeding a litter of Greyhounds you could go on Greyhound data and put both prospective parents in and it can tell you what the coefficient of inbreeding is before you even mated them. All Greyhounds are related.

A neighbor got a male pitbull pup off me years ago and it later got over the fence and over the bitch sibling I had kept. There was some truly outstanding pups, a couple of really small pups and one really weird looking one I was going to pts. My mate took him and he was a great dog, living until 15. The whole litter were very aggressive with each other though and had to be separated at 5 weeks because they were trying to kill each other.

Had the same with a brother and sister mating between 2 black terriers... everyone we kept was a right cnut for fighting with each other, couldn't take them out together, needed to peg them all out separate, murder if they was coupled to another dog🙈more interested in fighting them doing a bit 🙄👍

I dont know how far you can carry it on to a conclusion in dogs and most breeders are secretive about it, or even deny it altogether. Ive heard of years of it without going out at all. Personally Im still doing it with success. You can get mutations after intensive I think like the Bent head in Bullterriers and the coat colours in intensively bred foxes but Im no expert. You could ask someone like Ken Gould if hes still about, he knows all about it and more than me.

What I've seen, close inbreeding makes for aggression in some creatures. My old boss kept bees and he had to replace the queens every so often or he couldn't get near the hives. Also some places I've lived in remote, small towns, the people, mostly all related are always fighting and aggressive to each other.

All joking apart when you are breeding/genetic engineering you can breed aggressive or placid or whatever you like if you know what you are doing. You could in theory go 2 ways if you had the facilities and breed a family of placid dogs and a family of aggressive all from the same couple. Its select and purify or narrow down if you like. I dont know how long it would take or cost but it could be done. I think thats why they use mice in experiments, its just cheaper.

Not joking but the hillbillies could have started with aggressive ancestors and bees are aggressive by nature anyway. Different if you are line breeding hunting dogs, which are generally not human aggressive but I get what you're saying. The mice turned out good for snake food breeders.
