Stadium gigs are pants. Went to see Guns and Roses back in the day at the old Main Road ground.. it could have been Bianca out of Eastenders on the stage for all I knew!!

pesky1972 5,205
Call it greed or whatever and I don’t blame anyone for making the most financially out of an opportunity but.., Ticketmaster were selling standing (rear) tickets that were supposed to be priced at around £150 for £357 earlier because they were ‘in demand’. That’d be about £400 once you paid their fees. And they’re not even great tickets. Add to that the extra hundreds you’d need to pay for digs after every hotel trebled their rates overnight. I could’ve spent well over £3k to take the family to watch this gig but I didn’t, because I’m not loaded or fcuking mental.
tatsblisters 9,406
Just no interest now at my age to go and see a live concert and the only one I regret never going to is when Springsteen played at Brammal Lane in Sheffield years ago though I did manage to get to see him at the Sheffield arena when he did a tour with the Seager sessions. I think there will be a few like me that have a tinge of regret having not seen a few bands live in concert back in the day the Rolling Stones is another one I wish I had seen live and the last band I saw live was the Waterboys when they did a gig at Sheffield University that was a great atmosphere a lot better than any large arena type venue.
