chartpolski 23,557
Joseph Heller wrote, in my mind, one of the greatest novels; Catch 22. He also wrote a book called Good as Gold, about two brothers, one a successful, intelligent business man, the other an argumentative man who disbelieved everything. The argument about ice cubes drove the intelligent brother to the brink of despair, he knew he was right but his brother kept on disputing the facts. It’s a classic tale of the futility of arguing with someone who quite simply wants to argue ! A bit like this thread ! LOL ! Cheers. 1

The ISS is in effect dropping continuously around the curvature of the earth giving the same effect. Cheers.

Thst leads me to my next question lol Why dont they adjust the thrust of the iss so it's not free falling in turn so that they could walk inside instead of floating hshaha

You believe what you want mate , I’ll believe what I want, as I told mC long ago, I worked, socialised and lived with people who had worked on the moon shot program, I believe they weren’t lying to me and 400,000 people worked directly on the program and millions more on the supply side, if it were all a hoax, surely it would have got out by now ? He still can't comprehend how an aeroplane can be flown to Australia without flying upside down. Now, you've had about 3 years to 'educate' him, and it REALLY doesn't seem to be going well. Maybe time to call it a day with his 'education' eh charts? Some people will/cannot be taught. But hey, you tried.

The day he says “I don’t know” or admits he may be wrong will be the day I think I’ve finally made a breakthrough and I can give myself a metaphorical pat on the back ! Cheers.
