Brill, when  there working hard in class,  and then the big one  A levels , or get etc, what ever there taking right now, they need all the encouragement  to  try get a pass. My sob only child, took his A level,  in sport physio  therapy,   and with  pass in English which he brill,  takes after his late mom, not a think prat like me, I was only  brewery  worker  , but did it 25 years, before left looked back.i never wanted  my son to be like me and he not, just like his late mom. He passed got could marks,  but was very very hard to get football clubs, he did physio  for villa, 1st brom women  football, not enough money, did lot private  stuff. Where we lived lot people  used him.but still gard to make proper 45 hours week work. So he passed  his test class 2 lorry driving oil round farms, factory,  houses, making OK money . The reason I've wrote this  , because sometimes with the kids hard work trying to get passes in there grades etc, it still hard to get the proper  work they tried  to pass for hope she gets  good result's 👍

My granddaughter wants to be a children's social worker though like a lot of 16 year olds she might change her mind after doing her A levels next.

I imagine a degree in biology opens up lots of opportunities, working in the field, in a lab, etc. It would do my head in, I can't even decide what I'd like to do now and I'm almost middle aged. Lol

Yea Oxford University invited her down last year for a taster day for their law degree after her results and got offered a place this year but she decided against it I was gutted but she wanted to not av student debt and a very good law firm offered her an apprenticeship in law starting at 24grand a year and goin up every year and pay all her University course and expenses so she's over the moon

I would have loved to have gone down that route along with zoology. I mean I'm already a genius but it would have been nice to get the credentials with it.

9 is A star, 7 or 8 equals A (plus or minus)

6 b

5 c

I think it's anything over a 4 is a pass, 5 or above is very good, with 7 and above excellent...

Etc..
