My neighbour made me some scones this afternoon, she also gave me a small tub of clotted cream, now then I got the.strawberry jam.out, is it the cream first or the jam , like a fool i stood wandering, jam first, or cream,i put the cream on first then the jam, what you say

At least 2 inches thick in cream then a dollop of jam on top....hang your head in shame Arry, that ain't proper mate..lol

Keith, you have become a soft southerner. Cow heels and tripe are what we eat. Stop getting above yourself. You'll be wanting sliced Hovis at the corner shop next, instead of trudging up that cobble _stoned hill  with tha one clog on and buying  a proper uncut loaf.

And it didnt matter if it was yesterday's loaf either. Think on lad, I knew yer when you had nowt.

But jam spreads easier over the butter than butter over the jam the jam covers the full scone better then the cream covers the jam instead of just a blob iworkwhippets knew what he was doin here to old to get out to the riots so he's causing his own on the hunting life 🤣🤣🤣

Lol, eeh eh. Those were the days my friend,  now the mi owd cocker, whilst I'm here, that young lady, I.gave a brand new toaster to fer nowt, you said I would never see her again,   remember  ,eh, well we have become friends, I'm in the throws of doing some tiling for her in the kitchen, plus a new worktop, nice .young lady.we a hubby m.couple of kids,

As long as its proper clotted cream I don't mind. That bloody whipped cream crap don't cut the mustard.
