Ummmmm maybe! Lol

You must have some constitution mate, going steady away on beer is something even a non drinker like me can manage but that stuff will do most men in ! Lol

They used to serve this horrible, chemical tasting cider in pubs called “K” when I was a young man and I had to avoid it in the end as I kept wrecking boozers……once held off the police and regulars from a public bar for nearly an hour armed only with darts and pool balls….thought I’d better turn it in after that ! Lol

I’m sitting here having my cup of coffee, listening to some type of bird of prey in the wood beyond, terrier is whining at me…..

Had a real "moment" when me and the wife visited the Sacre Couer in Paris, many years ago. It's a stunning place anyway, but when we walked in the nuns were singing, it was very moving, my wife c

I get that, strong urge to be near the sea though rather than being on it necessarily. Spent an incredible day on the Angus coastline last week, beaches and sea cliffs and all the fauna that comes with it. Kids will be finished with school soon so seriously considering a house move to the coast somewhere. I imagine living with a view out to sea would be incredible and so connected to the landscape and all the elements if that makes sense.

I've allways said to the wife living by the sea would be amazing..go for it mate.. we are a long time dead as they say...

My lad with autism has a real attraction to the sea, he loves being in water in general but he's a different lad when he's in the ocean, first time we brought him to a beach he was like a different child in his element so to speak, has a super calming effect on him and it's like the autism disappears.

Weird mate ain't it..the sea must have some effect on the young lad..

They say we are 80% water ourselves so surely there's a connection of some sorts there..

I would if I knew how to, mate!!

Me and technology don't really mix lol, only the last few weeks I've been putting a few things up on here!!  😄.

I just typed in 'why do humans feel so connected to the sea', and that was one of the search results that came up.

Fascinating.

I listened to Sinead O'Conner's Remberings recently. Jesus Christ, poor child, more sinned against than a sinner in my opinion.

Anyway, a singing coach that she went to told her that you have to sing in your own accent to properly sing a song. Easier said than done I would imagine for someone who had the world at her feet, pop star record company sort of thing. Listening to her voice I get it. Same with lots of traditional Irish or British music. Punk was similar in my opinion.

Off on a tangent in Remberings, a very devout person she was, she said God existed before religion, religion fucks up the connection between us and it, it never asked for religion and it will still exist when religion has gone. She honestly believed that there is a God and it loves us. Bless her.

Hunts used to have a stone barn near Churston Ferrers I popped in there years ago and they filled me a 5 gallon barrel I always carry onboard, £20 I was well chuffed, when I visited again it had been turned into a posh house, very good cider as you probably know.

Yes I must have bought it as they were transitioning over to the new way of the business changing, I remember meeting Richard Hunt in the old barn they were bottling up at the time and they just put the hose straight into my barrel and away I went, It’s still like that in Mudgley at Roger Wilkins place in Somerset, I do prefer the old rustic ways it seems to suit cider.
