gnasher16 30,493
Really sad to see an old West Ham legend passed away yesterday....Ronnie Boyce was a one club man and lived for West Ham, i was too young to remember him as a player but he came to our school presenting awards and really took his time over the presentation chatting away and gave us football mad kids something to remember......i met him a few times many years later and he was always a nice softly spoken kind old gentleman with a great knowledge of the game.....RIP Mr.Boyce

Where do you begin? Pursuing Ashworth and then sacking him. Same with Jadon Sancho. Same with Ten Haag. Rashford can't be bothered to run and has a fat contract which will have to be honoured and financed. A one trick new manager who came in all positive and bright eyed and who refuses to adapt his tactics to take account of his players' abilities . And now looks as sad and bewildered as Saddam Hussein before he got the chop. A forward line who never score goals and never even see the ball. A bunch of slow defenders and a crap midfield. Monumental board level incompetence, owners who don't give a f**k and the Ineos man cutting staff and playing Scrooge with the little people employees. He's rearranging the deck chairs before the ship goes down. On a brighter note. Oh sorry there's isn't a brighter note. We're f****d.

To be fair I loath the “Citeh” thing and I’m taking real pleasure in seeing them get done in. For Utd, it’s different, my father in law is a United fan and for years I had to listen to absolute smug bollocks. I remember sitting in his front room watching my little hammers get done in like 4-0 or whatever it was and him cracking on like it’s just nothing……now I ask him about Man Utd and he is like “Oh, I don’t know, I don’t watch them anymore” lol So yeah, I’m taking real pleasure in watching them melt down…..it’s just not the same twisted pleasure I get from watching Real Madrid make City look like a non league team ! lol
jukel123 8,733 Posted Wednesday at 12:07 Report Share Posted Wednesday at 12:07 (edited) I was in a bar in Spain watching a Manchester Derby. There were a lot of Mancs and Safordians making a noisy, anti _social nuisance of themselves as only us brits can.But they were spending big time so were tolerated. United scored and I leapt out of my seat and shouted" get in". Dozens of pairs of beery, hostile eyes glared in my direction. It was only then I realised I was the only red and the rest were citeh supporters. I had just asumed, arrogantly, that a Manc accent meant Man U supporter! One of the few advantages of being old is you are not worth beating up, so I stayed for the rest of the match. We won and I slipped quietly away. I had a similar experience at old Trafford in the champions league when we equalised , about 2009 if my memory serves me correctly
