When Man U played Rangers on Thursday, I got two separate calls from old classmates from the 50's. Both were about Ranger fans managing to buy tickets for the Stretford End and causing mayhem provoking fights with Man U fans. I don't know how true it is but they said an eighty year old had been taken to hospital and later died. I felt like, even though I'm75 I should jump in my car and go and defend the Stretford End.Lol In the end I went to bed with my cocoa. There's always been aggro with Rangers and Man U. It might be religious, Man U were originally a team that catholics supported because of Irish immigration around the Docks area of Salford. As a result we've had first dibs on Celtic transfers, like Crerand, McClair and Lou Macari. But that awkward sod Kenny Dalgliesh opted for equally catholic Liverpool. Clown. He'd never win anything with them lol. Man Utd were nearly called Manchester Celtic

eastcoast 4,188
A bit disappointed with my club Newcastle today. Should have had the game won in 1st half. Don't get me wrong, I'll never become a boo boy and I'm still pinching myself at the incredible transformation over the last few years. But today, too much f***ing about in and around the 18 yard box. Running onto passes and letting the ball go to a team mate or silly back passes to a team mate in situations where a shot at goal was on. Borderline showboating. Need to get back to the drive and hunger. So much talent there now though, loving it. But we're not the Harlem Globetrotters.

My neighbour John Anderson, ex player, was commentating on BBC Newcastle and he was brutally honest; Fulham were the better team, simple as that. Cheers.

Well, my neighbour, Alan Shearer, said we could have have put the game to bed in the 1st half.

I loved Shearer as a player but he can be a boring so and so when he pontificates after games. Think he's taken over The Alan Hansen doom and gloom spot. Lighten up ffs.
