The previous manager had problems with him and so has Amorim. He's very immature. A fan criticised him on his way into the stadium and when he scored he refused to celebrate because some nobody had annoyed him. Go figure. He may be for sale and I wouldn't be surprised to see him go. But he may mature into a proper player. Either way kept or sold he's been a good buy ( around a million ?) I think. If we sell he's worth 35 million plus? Diallo has been sensational. Played a few games for us and sent on loan to Rangers where he rarely played.Loaned again to Sunderland where he was player of the year. And now given a run in the team by Amorim. He's been our Roy of the Rovers this season. Edited Thursday at 22:36 by jukel123
jukel123 8,299 Posted Thursday at 23:14 Report Share Posted Thursday at 23:14 I think Hojlund gets little or no service. He looks the part, lightning fast and composed on the ball. Nobody knows if he's any good at this level because he never sees the ball. He works hard but is continually starved of passes and crosses. Amorim needs to sort that out. Not much point in buying Gykores be cause his goal return will be no better without service

A honest assessment buddy I don't think one player in that squad they would think is irreplaceable or can't be sold I think the interim manager that said it's open heart surgery from top to bottom is spot on to see such a club as big as man u in that position should not happen

He's not fulfilling his promise this season. So yeah. Could be a lot of coming and going. Edited Friday at 08:07 by jukel123
ryaldinhio 4,657 Posted Friday at 00:06 Report Share Posted Friday at 00:06 @jukel123 Mainoo can't go. He is a quality player and they need to keep him. The bad eggs need to go, for me I called Rashford 2yrs ago while there was pgba and lingered etc. Rash needs to go. Garnacho, he is OK. I dont like his body language BUT he is copying his captain and role model Bruno......who is a waste of skin. Never been a captain while I've got a hole in my arse. If offered I would swap Garnacho and Fernandes for Brentfords Wissa and Mbuemo in a heart beat. 1
jukel123 8,299 Posted Friday at 09:54 Report Share Posted Friday at 09:54 Agree about Rashford. He's beome "a big time Charlie". Fergie would have got rid as soon as his attitude dropped. Agree about Mainoo. But he's not thriving under Amorim and has been pulled a few times. Time for him to adapt to the new manager. Can't Agree about Fernandes. We would be knackered without him. Not proper captain material, but a class player.
eastcoast 4,160 Posted Friday at 16:41 Report Share Posted Friday at 16:41 No need for anyone to worry, Gary Pallister has came up the perfect solution to get Man U back on track. All they need to do is sign Isak. He's far too good us anyway and needs to move to a big club, well that seems to be the opinion of everyone outside of Tyneside. It is not all bad news for us northern monkeys though. Pallister has suggested that we get Rashford in part-ex.

The £150 million price being bandied about never came from the club it was media generated. Ive heard, unofficially of course, that even a bid of £200 million would be laughed at and rejected by the Saudis, not that any club can afford that amount these days. Its all about “face” and “pride “ with the Saudis, They want the best , not bringing on the best and selling them, and if it wasn’t for FFP and PSR, they would be ploughing money into the club . I still live in hope that we will win something before I die, the last thing was 56 years ago, I’ve waited a long time ! LOL ! Cheers.

A very strange competition. If I remember rightly it was one team , one city. We finished ninth I think , but with the likes of Manchester, Liverpool , Birmingham, London having multiple teams only one from each city could qualify. I was only 16 back then, but remember going to every home tie, halcyon days. Cheers.
jukel123 8,299 Posted Friday at 18:08 Report Share Posted Friday at 18:08 Haaland's 9.5 year contract at half a million per week= 247 million. Plus sponsorship deals, win bonuses etc. Not bad.
eastcoast 4,160 Posted Friday at 19:20 Report Share Posted Friday at 19:20 "I still live in hope", love that Mr. Charts. I will never understand the attitude of we'll never win anything again in my lifetime, even though it has unfortunately been proven true in regard to some of my friends and family. Such a negative attitude to life. Things often unexpectedly change, and they have in regard to NUFC. Still won nowt, but how enjoyable is it watching the effort to change that? With an English manager at the helm. Bringing players in that did not cost silly money and improving them. Turning sow's ears into silk purses with the existing players. And young academy lads being given a chance. Love it. And I have now jinxed tomorrow's game

If they do Howe will be elevated above Shearer into Geordie sainthood. I was talking to a geordie recently when on holiday. . He and his wife were football encyclopaedias. They used to flit between Sunderland and Newcastle matches but the bitterness became so bad they only attend Newcastle and Darlington now. The bloke could remember a Man Utd player from the fifties the original 'Pancho' Pearson.(We have had another since.) Pancho was a psycho, violent player. As kids we used to mimic his headbutts, elbows, back headnuts and full on punches on the way home from reserve matches. He did make it to the first team but didn't last long. The geordie lad said he remembered him fouling a Newcastle player around 57/8. He'd never forgiven him.
jukel123 8,299 Posted Friday at 19:46 Report Share Posted Friday at 19:46 It's just been announced Denis Law has died at 84. A goal machine. . I might go to the funeral if any of my mates are going. Denis is the last of the trio comprising George Best and Bobby Charlton to die. His goal ratio per game was unbelievable. 1
