WILF 46,634
Dare we start this thread ?………lol Anyway, West Ham seem to have done some decent business, feeling quiet positive…..I’m sure it won’t last but I’ll take it for now.

You will be smashing your head against walls and calling for the return of your saviour ...Mr David Moyes within ten games. Man U have signed a young french defender, Yoro. I predict he is going to be a class act. Poise, time on the ball and a skilled reader of the game. I wouldn't be surprised to see Ten Haag get sacked . We desperately need strikers and we are not even linked to one in the transfer gossip pages. Going to be interesting to see how Man City fare when their fair play hearing gets under way.

I think it will be a make or break season for Ten Haag, it’s either clear it’s going in the right direction or he is out.….

I think the young lads got injured in pre season and looks a lengthy one, our curse with defenders continues.. he does look a very good player though..
pesky1972 5,217
Not sure Man U can afford to sack Ten Haag and his staff and bring in a new regime.., and overhaul the squad. Already sailing very close to the wind on FFP.

Yep. I saw him play in a friendly before he was injured. He'd only been in the country a few days but he controlled the whole game. Rotten luck.

Already sailing very close to the wind on FFP. We have a unique ability to buy above market price, offer long contracts with overblown wages and sell at rock bottom prices. The new hotshot management team have been hired to fix that issue amongst others. It will take a while and I'm suspicious that it may be a case of too many cooks. eastcoast 4,110
I've placed my 4 usual bets, the only ones that I put on with a bookie. Newcastle to win the league, Newcastle to win the FA Cup, Newcastle to win League Cup and an accumulator of all 3. Worst odds they've given me it 20 odd year!

There's a fine line between being a loyal supporter and delusional. What would happen if the geordies actually won something? Newci brown workers on overtime and casualty department full of shocked supporters.
gnasher16 30,045
Normally id be raring to go about now but just had the most heartbreaking few months of my life.....an old couple who from a kid have treated me like a son passed away within a week of each other in June....both massive Hammers fans i just cant get any motivation for footie at all at the moment i know we've bought a few players nobody ive ever heard of and cant be bothered to find out.....im sure once the season gets into swing old habits will kick back in....i wouldnt expect a lot this year its most likely going to have a bit of a " starting all over again " feel to it.....dont think we'll be looking over our shoulders at relegation but can only see a low teens finish at best, hope im wrong. But I'd like Newcastle to win something. Be good crack watching the celebrations of supporters starved for so long of a trophy. The way the Premier league is set up only probably 3 teams can win it. And the rest are also rans. Hold in I'm talking crap again..there's always a once in a lifetime Leicester City.
