I think the fastest schoolboy in the world is a shade sub 10…..could be wrong.

As for age, it’s more about development than age.

It just occurred to me that some of you lads are not grasping how big 1 second is in elite sprinting ?……it’s the difference between 200 meters and a marathon lads.

I’ll bet anything that lad has run mid late 11s, and doing it fairly regular….that one recorded performance won’t be his best performance, it will be his best event performance.

Good, when my grandson is here I teach him my ways, horses, dogs , birds.

Hes nine now so when he comes here next school holiday I’ll be teaching him how to shoot , starting off with the old BSA Meteor .

It was his PB mate....naturally in the biggest race of your life where you've prepared immaculately and peaked for the one race your more likely to run a PB than anywhere else.....hence most world records are achieved at the big meets or Worlds/Olympics etc
