The Irish Elk….. Just to see who would be the first to claim their bull cross had taken one single handed ! LOL ! Seriously though, it wasn’t an elk and evidently it’s closest living r

I can't see the point of bringing back extinct animals, there is not enough pristine wilderness left for a lot of living species like the great apes and many other large animals. The oceans are pollut

But it was us as a species that killed off the tazzie tiger, we should at least try and bring them back

Fair enough, but what for, they will likely become extinct again at some point.

Very true, although i think science will catch up, what about the mammoth? I wouldnt mind seeing them roam the siberian steppe, ever see the footage on the joe rogan podcast of the guy who owns the alaskan boneyard?

I've seen it , mad how science avoids the obvious if it doesn't fit or paleontology or what have you....

From the animals coming from the permafrost it shows the global flood was true, that boneyard fella said the animals didnt die in that spot but they got washed up to it before being buried, massive tsunamis went over America 12500 years ago, also knows as the younger dryas event, or noahs flood

Seriously though, it wasn’t an elk and evidently it’s closest living relative is the sika, and there are plenty of well preserved fossils, so it might be possible, who knows ?

Cheers.

Youd think looking at them that theyd be closely related to the moose

It’s like the musk ox; it’s not related to any ox or cattle; it’s most closely related to sheep and goats.

Cheers.
