I think it's fair , it needs to stop they're only affecting working people and stopping people getting to hospital or work and endangering lives on roads or blockading cooking oil depos lol. If they w

As I have said all along, their rights are your rights !

Today it’s them about their thing……tomorrow it’s YOU about your thing !

Anyone that can’t see that are the reason the government get away with grinding you into the dirt !

So, you think protesters should be sentenced to longer than 5 years in prison for protesting? What do you suggest, unlimited fines & 10 years, or more?

i think they should be shot off the gantries😉

Imagine if it was the edl regularly blocking roads, destroying priceless works of art and defacing ancient monuments...... would the courts, the public, politicians or yourself feel differently about the lengths of sentence?

Personally I would defend people's rights to protest....but I would strengthen laws and sentencing for those would attack or obstruct law abiding people...that goes for those blocking roads or hunt sabbing, stand and wave a placard as much as you want but that's where the line should be drawn.

Imagine if it was someone like Black Lives Matter……oh, hold, wait ?!

I can’t agree with any of that mate, these were mostly white British people protesting in their own land and I can’t get my head round white British people condemning them when they routinely swallow the 3rd world and their enablers taking the absolute piss !
We should be outraged, not cheerleading.

The judge said they had crossed the line from being protesters to fanatics.

I agree with nipping this in the bud.

Protest is fair enough , I protested at the miners strike and the countryside march but we didn’t aim the protests at our own people.

If these just stop oil people had chained themselves to Downing Street railings or glued themselves to Ministers cars I may have had some sympathy,  or at least respect for them, but they are going about it the wrong way and alienating the people they need onside.

Cheers.

I'm sure somebody died in an ambulance not being able to get to hospital for the protests..  anybody in the way of that ambulance should be jailed..

I read that type of utter tripe all the time in the protests, mate let me tell you this, I drove round London and the M25 all day, every day, for 30 years……. I sat in more 3 hour traffic jams than I care to remember  because the police, council, Uncle Tom cobbley just randomly decided to close a street or a road or a whole f***ing motorway and nobody, and I mean nobody ever reportedly died in a f***ing ambulance.

But hey presto, a few Middle Aged white people want to protest and now people are dying in ambulances like it’s the f***ing plague ???!!

If you believe that then you believe anything, total f***ing nonsense.

Not one of them will do the stretch, they’ll be out in two at the most. Open prison or release on tag.
It’s just a warning to the fanatics.
Let them protest outside the Chinese, Indian or Brazilian embassy’s and I’d have some respect for them , but stopping hard pressed people going about their business ? Well, f**k ‘em !

You can be the “devils advocate” , the horse that kicks over the traces as much as you want, Wilf , but these c**ts keep pushing the envelope , it has to stop somewhere !

Cheers.

They are absolute whallopers and are the exact same people who wave refugees welcome signs. As far as I'm concerned these just stop oil idiots aren't white British. Most of em would destroy British farming in a heartbeat.

Hence the Britain we have today……I’m not being the devils advocate, I’m just writing the reality.

I get what your trying to say....but I disagree.....right will always be right and wrong will always be wrong. And hindering ordinary people and defacing our cultural heritage, in the name of a fake cause, will never be right.
