I reckon u definitely know by then but I also understand not wanting 2 breed at that time I only ever bred 1 bitch she was older and it went tits up c section lost all pups and nearly lost the bitch put me off for life ,if I was to breed some it would definitely be at the 4,5 mark no older ,but feck it I'll let some other dosser do it and pay what the want 3 Quote Link to post
dogmandont 9,802
If the bitch is fit and healthy and worthy of breeding from I personally wouldn't hesitate in doing a mating, I'd be more concerned about finding the right stud than the age of the bitch. Best of luck in finding a suitable dog if you do decide in doing the mating. 3 Quote Link to post
Aussie Whip 4,092
Fck breeding dogs anyway, you try to get a pup as good as the bitch but the cross might not work out and every dog is very different unless they come from a tight line. Even then they all have different characters. I'd rather enjoy the dogs I have then get a new pup in as they age and enjoy working it for what it is. Quote Link to post

He’s coming up 10 now and in fairness, I’d love a pup off him. Quote Link to post
