Is that in regard to the ear carriage Shaaark?

Yep, I've had a couple of lurchers with deerhound in, still having that ear carriage until over a year old.

I think other large breeds, and slower physically maturing types would be pretty much the same.

I had a staff the same, 20 years ago, didn't lose his last upper right molar until he was just over 13 months old.

I’ve often thought about importing dogs, ( I’ve actually imported three; two from Australia and one from Saudi, but they weren’t working dogs). So why import , well it would be more from the hear

My first x, 12 months old. Not best picture, stands at 30tts.

Non-ped whippet; Back in the 60’s. Cheers.

No way past that. Mind she's stubborn, most head strong one I've had. But I'm cracking her, she will get there

That’s the spirit old chap, a good whipping always fixes things, it’s fashionable at the moment

Well, I don't know Kevin Davison from Adam, but I took his reply to me as 'yeah she's headstrong and stubborn, but I'm persevering and it's working, I will get there.'

Like I said, don't know him, but would like to think I'm correct?

In the west Midlands a dosser would take the term cracking as beating or otherwise striking said hound

In the north east “cracking “ could have at least three meanings;

“Cracking it” ; solving a particular problem.

”Cracking on” ; getting on with the job in hand.

”Cracking pint” ; a rather nice beverage.

But then again, we Geordies tark proppa , we de !

Cheers.
