northernlite is another.

He can only be reached by a series of tree knocks after making the long haul up to the Caledonian forest, and then he'll only make an appearance if he knows you've got a bait box full of garlic sausage and Haslet sarnies, he's the shy retiring type you see, even black neck hasn't sampled his rabbit terrine, and he took homemade lemonade and everything

Yes no bother mate. Nature has a way of regulating the size of the pups. The physical problem of a large dog and a small bitch is a bigger problem. You will need a platform for the bitch,  perhap

Think will just use another terrier

would you end up with bigger dogs overall in the end if you used a greyhound bitch and bedlington dog? Does that have any bearing? Ive wondered this.

That's a good question. I think the main reason that a Bedlington dog was put over a greyhound / whippet or grew bitch, historically, is simply because the latter are more easily obtainable and passed on after the litter has been bred. If you had a Bedlington bitch it made more sense, financially, to churn out pure Bedlingtons with the side line of stud fees for your Beddy sire over greyhounds / whippet etc. Probably not now, I see Beddy x Whippets advertised for more than KC Bedlingtons. Strange days indeed.

Perhaps he doesn't want to share you with another boy.

Not that I'm suggesting anything of a seedy nature, you understand?

Maybe he's just so lonely?
