He’s pleaded guilty to one felony charge of espionage and has plea bargained a sentence of 62 months in prison , and the court have, evidently, accepted time served here in Belmarsh, so he’s going to the American territory of Marianas for a court to “rubber stamp” it, then he’s free and flying home to Australia.

Well, that’s how I understand it.

Only pleaded guilty cos he's had to for his freedom...to be with his family

American plea bargaining, plead guilty to one charge, 18 others dropped, be sentenced to time already served here, and he’s free to go, but having a criminal record means he can never enter the US again.

 Big Sam does not take kindly to being messed with. I'm surprised they have been so lenient. But maybe, as others have said, the story is not over.
