I honestly think it's a cross you can't go wrong with in getting a good adaptable knockabout lurcher. I have had some decent dogs from this mix in the past that had durability and rarely sustained injuries despite being worked hard lamping and running hare's on land with hedges and spinneys as well as running blue hare's up on moorland sometimes a couple of days a week.

There’s still genuine working Bedlington’s around.   Cheers.

My little bitch Delta was only 1/4 beddy, a hard little dog, only injuries in a long career were mainly cuts and tears.  lived ‘till she was 15 worked ‘till she was 12. Cheers.

A pal has just had this ten month old first cross beddy/grey sent over from Ireland, sire is working Bedlington. Cheers.

I agree with that ,my dogs never stop hunting, even when just out for a quick  walk, neither had to got to vet ,worst injury was  cut pad, or knocked  up for a few days ,, hard as nails,  tats you may  recognise  that place where the picture was taken

Had one back in the eighties. A lovely little dog. So light mouthed I actually thought she had problem with her jaw. Used to holds rabbit literally by there skin. Lost her a few to start but she soon got nack. She was a cracker and more importantly a pleasure to live with which counts for a lot now a days

Sire was a first cross beddy/greyhound owned by a lad on here , bred at the Heartbreak Fell kennel.

Dam was deerhound/greyhound x whippet/greyhound also owned by another lad on here.

Cheers.
