Well played I want a convincing win against a good team.not a good 20 minutes against the 133rd*ranked team. *I think that's what the BBC quoted.
jukel123 7,957
I'm not critical of Bellingham at all, far from it. He is phenomenal. Read somewhere he's making megabucks from modelling. He will probably make more money from the game than brand Beckham. I had to smile at Shearer commentating last night. He was critical of Bellingham for barging into a serb player. Christ I remember a few elbows from Shearer and, an infamous incident in which he deliberately kicked Neil Lennon in the head. Hypocritical sod. lol.

dodger 2,754
Stiff I don't really follow football these days so not guna pretend to know much but you seem to know what your talking about surely you can't think there playing anywhere near well or in anyway exciting to watch compared to other countries

Lacking imagination . I think ironically that the two of the most maligned players , shaw and maguire are the two we miss most as they provide an assure led defence that allows our attackers to surge forward rather than protecting a poor defence . trent was the epitome of all he is criticised about tonight, not alone though , all round very poor tonight
Blackmag 6,040
Said it a few times now on here about Southgate and his negative slow approach tonight no press or urgency rice constantly sitting deep like his role at westham he hasn't made one run like he does at arsenal that makes a difference foden looks lost stones doesn't move forward in to midfield like he does at city Palmer a natural goal scoring midfielder left on the bench

pesky1972 5,219
England have an embarrassment of talent, yet play some of the most boring football I’ve seen yet in the tournament. Just seen Kyle Walker interviewed saying “it’s tough coming to these hostile environments”.., it looked like England fans had most of the stadium ffs. They were booing a bit at the end mind lol.

Listening to the interviews after the game it was focused on that they was atleast at the top of the group and should atleast go through so take a positive from that. Other countries such as the German's and Eastern Europeans amongst others don't tend to think like that do they and the fans wouldn't allow it there born to strive for the best or hang there heads in shame
pesky1972 5,219
38 years ago today probably the most infamous goal in football history was scored. And look what crossed the line first in the 5.40 at Royal Ascot today!

Southgate should bring on palmer , and rest foden , leave watkins on, then you may see more drive up front of the goal. if Southgate doesn't change his team around we loose , and southgate will either leave or he get the sack.
