Firstly I'll spare a thought for you chaps that no longer have your dad around. It can't be easy and fortunately I'm not in that position yet. And you lot that aren't a dad yet.. get working at it! Lol.. So.. let's see what you get.. or what you think you're going to get. Had a ride out and ended up at Matlock in Derbyshire. For people that aren't familiar with Matlock.. it's basically a little seaside town that is 90 miles from the coast and a magnet for motor cyclists! Nice little place to kill a hour or two. He was just getting in from a night on the razz after a 10's Rugby tournament and I was reconfiguring blocks of cheddar in the smokery, taking advantage of the last cool spell. Lots of bits and bobs from my daughter, including a hand painted globe with a picture of me and her on it and she'd written "You're my whole world" on it. Then, yesterday evening, went to Southampton for a goat curry and a Madness gig! Best father's day ever! Must admit that my arms ache after holding my twelve year old daughter for an hour and a half dancing at the gig. 2 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
