It was misty that day but normally you could see the mountain Suliven in the distance. We climbed it and it was buzzing with life: insects, frogs, toads, grouse, red deer, golden Eagle. I normally associate a huge variety of wildlife with higher temperatures. But the Highlands  has an ecosystem which hasn't been interfered with by industry or agriculture, so the place is just an huge nature reserve brimming with life. On the negative side you get eaten with midges and have to be careful of ticks.

Very good mate,was it a regular visitor while you stayed there?Tell your wife your off for a few weeks,there’s a spare bed at the air BnB for the salmon run.

Yep, there were a few, stags and calves/fawns along with the hinds, the more wary ones came at night but we could pick them out with night sights. Told my Mrs... she says she's no way, she's sick of a being a fishing widow as it is.Lol

How can I put up videos? The site tells  me files are too big .

Think you need to upload to YouTube and post a YouTube link

Load it onto YouTube then press the share button underneath the film
