Don't want to get into the bickering about whether their is big cats or not roaming about the British countryside though i believe it could be possible the odd escapee could remain undetected though i believe only for a short wile especially with modern technology or the possibility that a big cat like the bobcat mountain lion or lynx knowing how easy it is to smuggle things into this country undetected a big cat as a kitten i believe could be got by anyone with plenty of money and a mind to own a big cat who lives away from other folks .

But how do you distinguish between a DNA sample from a black Panthera pardus and a normal coloured one? Didn't realise DNA sequencing of big cats had come along so far

So you have just piped in halfway through listened to nothing and made a bigger knob of yourself than normal, I,m just guessing when the dna comes from black hairs it would indicate to the scientific world that the animal was black just a thought

Yes tats you could but if you had the money why not just build an enclosure get a licence and do it legal

Yes because it would only be the spots that come out, I,m off out now can’t be wasting my time with a dreamer all day put the picture together people see black cats black hairs found with dna would indicate a black animal if it wasn’t for your stupid reply’s I would bother to explain why they are black or you and the stiff idiot could actually listen to the podcast I put up in the start to try and answer some of the questions you keep repeating  every time you try and ruin another thread on the subject

Ye you are right if you had the money on the other hand if you were in that position regarding money but you might not want the attention of authorities who must grant these licences and then surely they would be inspections i would have thought to make sure that the cats were kept secure and no danger to the public.

Nice paragraph here showing I'm correct to say it's down to local authorities and there's no central government rules and regulations as to how they're kept, I'm sure @Greyman will be along to apologise for saying I had no idea what I'm talking about any minute now
