I’m afraid the only cougars getting split second action in country lanes round Longtown at Halloween is my Mrs after a night out pal.

I know exactly what’s happened there it’s very clear to see . The woman is a f***ing crank . Just happened to drive up in the daytime in the morning , found a dead sheep and saw a nearby big cat .

how simple would it be easy for her to get big cat dna ? I laud you and I do think it’s a worthwhile endeavour , however again the narrative is bent to the evidence .

you could say that I am guilty of that , but I would say that getting dna and planting it , is easier than sighting one

You are probably right.  But there's always a chance " cranks"  can be proven right. And they're doing nobody any harm. As I've said before "keep on keeping on" Greyman and friends.

That woman says there’s a breeding pair in thirlmere, owns a large jungle cat type thing , runs a group dedicated to it , and just happened to drive to another part of the county and seen it within minutes .

come on , there’s a reason she’s referred as the Cumbrian carol baskin

F'n ell, if she's Cumbria's answer to Carol Gaskin, that makes Greyman Joe Exotic. You are beginning to make sense Stiff. It all makes sense, that's why he lives off grid, it's impossible for her to find him.

What gets me is there was an absolutely tiny number of cougars and black leopards in private hands when the ban came in (they weren't even the most popular species of big cat to keep) and an even smaller percentage of those cats would have been released into the wild and an even tinier percentage still would have survived but there's apparently breeding populations of both species up and down the country? Just doesn't wash. Standard coloured leopards were far more common in the pet trade (still tiny numbers) than black but you never hear of sightings of them, but of course moggies and dogs don't come in leopard spots...

You do disappoint me I did think you may get some grasp of things but obviously not Sharon dedicates her life to what she does, she follows up reports as she gets them which puts her in places that are active thereby increasing her chances of success, it’s a very simple formula effort = reward, you keep on making outlandish statements that have absolutely no substance but are good enough to convince you that your right, last time you claimed there might be a few escapees,( about a 100 a year according to reports)  but when I explained to you that there is one captive black leopard in the uk you chose to ignore it, now you are clearly showing even more ignorance claiming we are planting dna which is even more ridiculous as we are attempting to build a database which would all just come tumbling down if all the samples came back to that one captive individual, mountain lions would be far easier as there are far more in captivity yet we have none so far strangely, I think my first impression was the right one, you are clearly in the category that has to be told by a superior how to think which will always mean you just run with the crowd, but never lead it guess we will just have to pioneer on without you 😭

Any supporting evidence to that statement or are you just using the stiffy formula of plucking facts from thin air because moggies and dogs don’t leave leopard dna either or feline footprints or kill and consume an entire deer or sheep in one sitting but it sounds better to ignore all those points
