Are you telling me youve never listened at a hole to find the direction to start locating in.Bit of advice- youll save a lt of time wandering about if you can walk in the direction of the sound!.

I'm not trying to split hairs here but, Why would you bother listening at the entrance? if you wasn't using a locater you'd of checked the surrounding area.

When I'm out on my own, I net the holes. You can't bolt, dig and shoot at the same time. 20m to me means 20 meters.

I'm not defending anyone but unless someone knows Foxdropper to be an Anti or a messer or a dickhead then why not give the lad the benefit of the doubt, there are two many people telling other lads how it SHOULD be done, we all do it different and I for one would take a gun a shovel, net up, and listen to a hole.

 

Oh by the way with my own eyes I have seen steam of sorts coming from a hole but not neccesarily of an animal but maybe when ground is thawing out in the sun.

 

Foxdropper, I'm definately not the only one with single handed digging experience and a good few lads on here do 5 times more than me and have been doing for twice as long.

 

You must have photos from over the years FD, what dogs do you work etc.

Well done dillon yeah he did mean he used the torch lite to shoot matey, i do agree with the rest of u about putting pics on but who the f**k wants to carry a camera every where they go with there terriers + its dame good evidence for the old bill if u were stopped and im f****d if u would put pics of that dig on here if u know what i mean! i didnt go with foxdropper but i helped put his bitch right after so less of the bullshit boys and bring ur dogs down and have a dig cus we have some places round us that will break ur little dogs hearts :realmad:

I love listening to the sound of terriers making contact and working their quarry its what makes us feel alive.Perhaps some on here dare not waste a second listening and have to dig straight away incase their dogs come away.
