One more thing-If you kow the dog is hard and you know the quarry and the earth why prolong the enevitable.Get down to the dog ,do the deed and save the dog for another dig.Im not knocking the long digs, we all enjoy them and can be proud of our dogs for it ,after all thats what we have all strived for over the years, adog that will stay until dug to but to sit back and let a hard dog get smashed is foolish and serves no purpose at all.My terriers will work until exausted but once settled in a place ,the digging begins to minimise the lay up period after wards.Save the cups of coffee for after.! :good:

maybe by giving a "Hard" dog a bit longer it may educate itself a little and become less reckless in its work. Or maybe not.... B)

Some of them will learn and some will never learn. The ones that never learn have no brains.

I dont think once a dog has been set in its way it will change nothing drastic not once it has steadily been dug to regular enough...None of the hard dogs i have dug to would stop being hard and i dont think the owners or myself would want the dog to change...The reason being each time success is there so what would be the need for change either for the dog or you...If your not getting results then there`s problems but until that day i dont think there is :good:For a hard dog to be branded brain dead i think it`s a shame maybe if people respected the way the dog works then there wouldn`t be so much hype about hard dogs being useless cause alot wouldn`t have time for a hard dog cause of that reason hard dog = no brains  That statement= bullshit :good:

Each to there own i would have what ever type of dog so long as success is there but i wouldn`t brand any type brain dead for a certain style in which it gets results :)
