I realy do give a f**k what people keep in there kennels :11: .

I do have a soft spot for hard/game terriers but as long as they get the job done.

We all no bayers bay and dont make contact because there a bit scared of the quarry, thats probably why people who like to get the most out of an animal who realy test it like game dogs. :D

Are you telling me youve never listened at a hole to find the direction to start locating in.Bit of advice- youll save a lt of time wandering about if you can walk in the direction of the sound!. :good:

I love listening to the sound of terriers making contact and working their quarry its what makes us feel alive.Perhaps some on here dare not waste a second listening and have to dig straight away incase their dogs come away. :D

some of us have dogs that dont make a sound they get in latch on and do the job ..........

totally agree.good shout.

Nice to see you boys getting along again[honest].Sorry if I caused a stir by printing my dig in a way not all of us could appreciate. The type of digging we tend to do nessatates the on dark aproach.but not because we have no business to be there.Anybody wishing to make the journey to Wiltshire would be more than welcome, providing the invite was returned! Its good to see peoples dogs in action and the way they treat situations. The bitch I was using last sunday has 2 totally different voices depending on what shes at which is why I like to listen at holes. In future my posts will be more reader friendly.

Hi mate,..

Didnt know to many keepers in that end of the woods, sorry...knew a few in the Rodmartin area when i was a kid, and i was mates with a keeper in a little town outside of wroughton...

To be honest, we kept ourselves to ourselves...there was just a few close friends that used to knock about with each other, and no one new what the craic was...plenty of twats knocking about, but lots of game to be had.

Ive heard alot of it has been built on know though, and the game has gone down hill drasticly...

Kye,..

:clapper: i like a good bayer but i like it to be bred off a hard dog. so you need the hard dogs. to breed good baying terriers. the problem is that most people bumping there gums about there harddogs forget to mention that there dogs are to big and are built like fridges  you dont need a spade to dig them out . you nead it to get them in. the best dog to get the job done is a determined SMALL terrier with the sense to take as little damage as possible.
