I get looked at as strange too round here too cause I have ferrets terriers and chickens. Like I'm from another world.

The neighbours give me a wide berth to but that suits me

I used to be offered a lot of unwanted dogs, almost all were dogs that had piss poor owners, who  were happy to blame the breed or the dog. I made useful dogs out of some, others weren't cut out for a

A fare few even older blokes get deerhound staghound types and expect them to be hunting at 6 months like a bully cross when some need 18 and end up shooting them. They really need to be educated on the breeds before getting them, the dumb fcks.

What a load of crap.  1st it 10 month old, it still not developed physically yet, take 2 years more so bullx, it not little beddy whippet. It deff got worse with  alot of these young people. Don't get wrong, you always had dog swapers even when I started near 40 years ago. But atleast they put bit graft in to the dog couple seasons etc, not 8-10 month old pup. I glad iam out of it now, the deff fooked now, and it only worse with more dreamers in it. 🤔

It’s shocking ray I’ve never been on facebook but from the stories some of the lads tell me the pics they see is embarrassing.44yrs of doing it and had some really good bags but I’m like you now I’m out of it.Just the air rifle to get bits for the pot does me now

Been like that over here, for years.

People trying and expecting pups to be doing allsorts, by the time it's a year old.  Usually ran the guts out of em from 8-9 months old.

Madness.

People expect to much from a young age and can’t expect every dog is different they my look full mature but there mind might not be , had a bullx get to 20 months and wouldn’t touch teeth was starting to get really worried then one day it clicked and she never looked back and become a very useful tool , feel a lot people like to brag about dogs doing things at a young age like this a accomplishment but usually it’s gone by 18 months because it’s f****d
