Is it the x20 ? The garmin mini are brilliant i wouldnt get rid of it for a dogtrace but if i lost me garmin tomorrow id happily go out and buy the dogtrace

Then dogtrace ones are just as accurate as a good garmin and better for smaller dogs the collars fit loads better

Iv got Astro 430 or 420 with t5 mini collars it’s got a lower update time up dates ever 2.5 seconds something like that don’t leave the house with out it  edited to add also got the garmin watch

I think so yeah, I’ve had it years . It’s stuck in bottom of a draw now lol . Honestly the collar is comical big

I bought some collars off amazon proper waterproof but not as wide just changed them

it's the buckle that's big these are much better I use them on my Borders bushing etc

So will the antenna on that type of tracker take abuse from a terrier hitting deep cover? And can they be submerged?

this is off there website mate

you can buy extra silicone covers for them too.

You can get extra covers for um but no nothing about them

If you terriers are swimming cross rivers etc all time can't 

answer but bushing thick cover n Ditches ok

These gps trackers do they sort of work any where ? Wooded valleys and all that. I been using the cheap ones that link to your phone but you frequently hit black spots. Think I might bit bullet get something decent
