Load the lurchers and/or Bedlingtons into the pick up towing the caravan and after signing on would send their family holidays there. One of the few times a year that the dogs got out of kennels and the caravans moved out of the street. There’s “travellers” go every year from Sunderland, the closest they come to being real travellers is they watched my big fat gypsy wedding and moved round the corner from their mam when they left home. 1

No because the biggest sense you get from people at these shows is a relief that they can tell someone there experience without being mocked I,m quite good at reading people and it’s not hard to spot the bullshit I also get shown pictures on people’s phones etc that will never appear in the media, there are a lot of people with your views on the subject but if they are happy to listen and debate it’s good to have others opinions, as far as I am concerned we are well past the point of wether they are here or not and it’s more about learning all we can I also had a farmer at the show that was furious about the cats because of the livestock he had lost and his pictures confirmed everything he was saying but all he wanted to do was shoot them all but it’s not that easy most of the ones I here of that have been shot are not by people going out to do so they get an opportunity and a moment to make a decision some regret the decision others don’t, as I have said we are starting to make breakthroughs in DNA the government took our first one away so nothing surprises me in that department they are desperate to hide the truth but eventually they will have to sit down and talk about it, there are quite a few people on the podcast like police train drivers even politicians etc that are only allowed to speak because they have left the job, it is real and when I saw one myself I needed to to know more know more the 5 positive tests we have had so far have came from 2 freshly eaten animals one from a turd one from some black hair on a barbed wire fence near a fresh kill and one from a dead shot animal that would be enough for a conviction in court as you said occurs razor I think

But why would the government want to suppress evidence of their existence?

At a random guess, I'd say partly to stop mass hysteria and panic, where these sightings occur? AND, also the fact that the gvnmt wouldn't have to pay out, if no evidence/bodies of big cats couldn't be proven, as in when someone reports a big cat body at a certain location, when they go back to check, lo and behold, the body has 'miraculously' disappeared?!! Just a guess, though. I might be way off the mark? Edited June 4 by shaaark

I was in Alston a few years back . I walked past an abandoned church and there was a bloke gardening in the church grounds. I happened to say to him what a magnificent building the church was and he replied "yes I've just bought it at auction" and he showed me round. It was truly stunning inside. He had paid next to nothing for it, he wasn't specific, but I know it was l less than 50 grand. He was hoping to convert it as a house for himself. I've been back a few times since and sadly theres been no work done. He anticipated planning problems and I guess he ran into plenty.

Did the same when we was teenagers, bloke bought a local closed church….showed us all round and he had installed an indoor koi pond in what was going to be his front room ! Still had plenty of work to do and I didn’t have the heart to tell him we had nicked all the lead off the roof a year back ! Lol 1

But why would the government want to suppress evidence of their existence? As shark says one is panic and hysteria, but two is the fact they created the problem themselves by making it illegal to keep them as house pets in the 70s but never made it illegal to release them until the 80s though I do think there have been cats here since ww2 at least, mascots zoos and circuses were all subject to meat rationing so easier to let them go, the government department MAFF, now DEFRA actually employed a guy to catch big cats there is a trap called the Aldridge trap on the permitted trap register that he used it is still on there and the reason for using it states to capture large non indigenous carnivours or something similar sadly he died of sepsis in a routine operation so can’t tell his tale but all of his paperwork and files is safely hidden away, you only have to watch the news to know there is nothing government won’t lie about and that is world wide, a German politician has recently been arrested for stating that 57% af gang rapes in Germany were by immigrants, people are being arrested and jailed for being British and proud so don’t ever expect the truth until they are backed into a corner
Councilestatekid 1,814
Do you think greyman that they've been able to survive and breed in the wild since back then? And surely gene pool must be small and if they've been breeding all these years wouldn't they be biggish numbers by now? By the way I'm not sayin that there isn't big cats out there a keeper on a sporting estate I used to live and work on says he so 1 up near where used to live road many years ago he wasn't 1 for bull and [BANNED TEXT] he was keeper on our estate he went to bring big cats to a safari park over here so knew his stuff also knew a farmer near our estate who said he'd shot 1 and buried not to get into bother and not many people knew that but our keeper seen it when he shot it and told him to Bury it and keep quiet
