philpot 4,981 Posted June 4 Report Share Posted June 4 Anodising will not change the colour Jimmy, it is a process done to the surface of the metal ie, to turn a high polished finish into a matt finish or at least that is the only application I am aware of. Perhaps cerakoting is a better bet as you can have what colour you want or gun blue/black is another way Jimmy. Phil Quote Link to post

Phil anodising is a type of case hardening, easy to colour it, used to make small shock absorber housings and they were done in gold, red and blue, can`t for the life of me remember where, Coventry way I think. 1 Quote Link to post
