Going to work minding my own business and a bloody roe jumps into the road done an emergency stop and luckily missed it as it dived back in the hedge . But now got a stiff n sore left shoulder and base of neck .

sheer numbers of the roe and sika in Dorset is staggering since the dog ban and covid I reckon the population has really shot up  ?

I think the Hunting Act has it covered by saying it’s illegal to hunt MAMMALS with a dog ; there’s no mention of native or non-native species.  Cheers.

Wouldn't fancy one of them big Sika stags landing on the windscreen, do they cut about in big herds like the fallow?, had a brace of young swinging dick Roe prickets bouncing in and out of the hedgerow whilst driving the quiet lanes late on Sunday all over like a pair of drunken pinball

Dunno if they travel around like it but I can head towards Poole early morning in summer see 20 plus in field grazing go half mile down road and  be another mob of them . 
seen fallow in fields near Epping around 2006 ? and yeah that was sight to see like they was being chased by Fenton lol.

always have it in the back of my mind when I’m out …… I dread to think what  would occur if I encountered the same as you  …. I’m on a motorbike and as it’s a 125 i ride it like a ****

Yeah I did think the same I don’t know if I’m going to do the test tbh .

I see the problem, they need to put up more of those traffic warning signs with the pictures of deer on them, problem solved. Glad I could help. Next.
