Peter Hitchens ! My old adversary , LOL ! I once got the better of him in a debate about the pros and cons of the U.S.S.R. back when he was a communist before his lurch to the right. He wasn’t amused and name-checked me and slagged me off in his Sunday Mail column. Ive softened my attitude towards him since his conversion to Conservatism, and I agree with a lot of what he says on his regular appearances on GBNews, so yes, peoples views and opinions can change with age, experience and a changing world . Cheers.

Another over entitled, over opinionated woman, with probably no idea what the history of the “Middle East problem” is and most likely couldn’t point to Gaza on a map ! Just another revolutionary student who will probably grow up to be a Labour politician…. Just my opinion, of course. Cheers. If only you could find a Labour politician with any commitment to making ordinary people's lives better. The current crop of Labour wannabes are a slippery bunch of non committals. Christopher Hitchens, the elder brother of Pete,r had a much sharper brain than his brother imo and was a first class debater. He's also written books well worth a read. Again my opinion, Peter Hitchens reminds me of an hysterical tory lady moaning about a lot of inconsequential crap. I think these old ladies are his intended audience. The Daily Mail has recruited some fine right wing minds to write drivel in the manner of Hitchens. I never thought Andrew Neil would stoop to earning coin from the Daily Mail. But I suppose "where theres muck theres brass."

But I suppose "where theres muck theres brass." The daily Mail (like most of the press it seems these days) are absolute scum ! Like, on another level type scum. They couldn’t wait to hound to death English lads and sacrifice them at the altar of Saint Doreen of Eltham……as in it’s been a lifetime of persecution at every turn and all quietly encouraged by our own people who believe the crap these people write. I agree, anyone who takes the coin from filth like them deserves to be viewed with suspicion…..I just used him as an example of how people can change their thinking.
