Bird Catcher 95
Could anyone please date this (mk4?) I belive early to mid 60's. Not had one with the thumb loop built into the jaws and a thin wire safety (more like a fish hook than a safety!) Also looking to buy old traps Fenn mk1, imbra and decent gins (especially small ones). Cash or possible exchange traps, cartridges or vintage air guns Quote Link to post

Hello OTC! I've a couple of the same Model Fenns with subtle differences in the wire work and catches . Different batches l guess . The noticeable difference is that one trap has four tiny holes in the treadle ;possibly for wiring a bait to ? Would this have been a factory feature or a user modification? All the best Edited August 26 by comanche Quote Link to post

Bird Catcher 95
Thanks OTC for dating the Fenn, bit older than I thought. Regarding Fenn mk1 rabbit traps, used to have lots and bought them from Scats ( (now Mole Valley Farmers) wish I'd kept hold of a good few, only have 1 left ! 1 Quote Link to post
EDDIE B 3,162
Is the Fenn rabbit trap the only rabbit trap that is still legal to use? Quote Link to post
