saluki bouy 681 Posted October 14 Report Share Posted October 14 I’ve been there with the coke and got clean done a 12 step program and get to help other young men through it and see there life’s change for me it was to fit in then it was using on emotions then it was just daily using lost the power of choice somewhere along the line and if it wasn’t for my best friend being in recovery I’d of been dead but tell you what and I’ve been to a lot of meeting throughout Scotland Ive yet to meet a stupid addict far from it you meet ignorant arrogant egotistical twats that tends to be the sober ones but I know where I was and where i am now thanks to the first 164 pages in the big book of aa and having the willingness to do what my sponsor told me connecting to a power that’s greater than me and continuing to help others it’s there for anyone who wants to live a sober life anyone on here that struggling with addiction or has family members struggling drop me a pm more than happy to help I’ve seen the power in it watched men come in with rampant crack addictions teenagers come in on meth scripts women that drunk daily in the house for decades all get sober and well it’s amazing but on the other hand some don’t want it and believe they can’t deal with life on life’s terms without a substance in the here body and some unfortunately don’t know about recovery and the services doctors etc are shite simple as pharmacists won’t put up our meetings posters in there because they’d rather make money of people on scripts they don’t even like reducing someone on a meth script round here why £££ 14 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
