Arry 23,045
Think it was Greyman that put up a thread on cheap chains a while back. Think it might have been Rotatech just wondering are they any good. Just got an old Husqvarna 254 going but its only got 13"bar which is a bit small for that motor. Don't want to spend £100 on a old saw. Cheers Arry Edited May 3, 2024 by Arry
Greyman 29,739
Yes mate rototek would say the chains are actually better than stihl ones I was buying for £25 a pop more meat on the teeth and seem to hold an edge better have given it a couple of hard winters all good
Arry 23,045
Thank mate might give them ago. Been reading about their bars some say they are a bit soft so might get a Oregon bar. Cheers Arry
Greyman 29,739
Would say the bars are not quite as good quality as the chains but at the price they charge I just fit a new bar and chain at the start of winter still costs less than a main name chain
