Cheap Chain saw bar and chain

Recommended Posts

Think it was Greyman that put up a thread on cheap chains a while back. Think it might have been Rotatech just wondering are they any good. Just got an old Husqvarna 254 going but its only got 13"bar which is a bit small for that motor. Don't want to spend £100 on a old saw.

Yes mate rototek  would say the chains are actually better than stihl ones I was buying for £25 a pop more meat on the teeth and seem to hold an edge better have given it a couple of hard winters all good

Would say the bars are not quite as good quality as the chains but at the price they charge I just fit a new bar and chain at the start of winter still costs less than a main name chain

Just had 2 rotatech chains delivered for my battery powered chainsaw...find them spot-on,you can sharpen them 2/3 times before needing a replacement,as good as the big names👍DSC_3587.JPG.d4b1993cd1ac84236ffe19c6852f6d7d.JPG

2 TO 3 Sharpens doesn't seem a lot i sharpen mine at least 20 times maybe more

What are you using to sharpen it, a 9" angle grinder?
