forest of dean redneck 11,535
Yes I would sooner buy that than cobble something together that would probably break and resulting in me punching myself lol
tatsblisters 9,456
That simpleshot one looks well made. I often wonder on the accuracy on those slingshot bows and would be tempted to give one a go .

I was wondering if you can shoot the same as aiming with a catty ie anchor points. But am sure the frame widths are bigger than what I normally shoot, so would imagine have to start from scratch with a slingbow and different anchor points . Am tempted for 65 quid to be honest.

Let us know how you get on if you get one mate. I have been doing a bit of practice in the garden as I bought one of them wildsteer catch bag things but the noise it makes when ammo hits the bag brought a nosey neighbour out next door but one and I could hear her saying to her daughter some one is shooting a gun. Lol Lol, pain in the arse ain't they lol. I cut the front out of a wheelie bin and draped towels inside and put targets in it. I have it in my garage, I put a single door in the back of my garage so I shoot stood in the garden into the garage to avoid the noseys. To be honest I ain't shot in the garden for a long time, I tend to just practice down the woods most days [BANNED TEXT] I take the dog for a walk after work. And I think I am going to order the simple shot slingbow later , will let you know how I get on mate, cheers.
Leo Sayer 2,336
Can some one please post a link up to a website if possible please ? I am useless with teckno lol. Just Google Chief AJ Slingbows and his website will pop up. Looks like some good stuff on there for sale, like fishing rigs and all sorts, also quite a few videos to watch on various pages on it. Thanks in advance cheers Leo.

I have just ordered the simple shot one, in the spares they also sell a rail attachment. That you can screw in a bow stabilizer or a real seat for a fishing real. Also ordered a bow release off Amazon. Edited May 5 by Leo Sayer

I have most of my practice shots down the wood and put the target in front of an old rotted tree trunk then every so often go and dig the ammo out of the rotting wood with a screwdriver it's surprising how deep they go when shooting from a 15 yard distance.
