Used whole , crushed or fermenting in bucket of water hung from a tree , they'll attract roe and a lot of other animals to your trail cam. As for covering your scent ,stay downwind against a backdrop and don't flinch. Even if they sense you curiosity will even sometimes cause them to walk closer investigate . A remote shutter activator will keep your movement to a minimum. I bet most people with trail cams have pictures of deer noses where the animal has been intrigued by the camera and come closer for a lick and a sniff. Thanks for that , I will look into the apples. Much appreciated cheers Quote Link to post

I know where there's a couple of apple trees in Essex that have what amounts to a fallow deer motorway leading under them when the fruit is falling. 8 hours ago, Leo Sayer said: Can’t see em selling them in my Morrisons down the road lol Just been in a store while 'er indoors was shoe shopping, one of the assistants who shoots said you can't beat mineral licks (and they had pop up blinds). 1 1 Quote Link to post

On some of the facebook groups I was reading about scent control and lot of different views on there. Some fellas smoke there clothes , others get a bin bag with leafs and debris from the area and leave there clothes in there for a few days. Others by chems you can get to spray on or wash your clothes inn. It’s all very interesting actually. In Walmart at the moment having a coffee while my lady is shopping and spotted these in what she calls the pee-aisle (stinks of deer piss and lures). 1 Quote Link to post
