There’s an old mine shaft near my allotment where a local hospital, now long gone , dumped their rubbish. Bottle collectors are always digging it up and a lot of the stuff is in good condition. TRUEBRIT66 1,591 Posted April 11, 2024 Report Share Posted April 11, 2024 Used to find loads when we were kids in the mud on the River Avon as well as clay pipes and codd bottles, being kids we used to just smash them up especially the codd bottles to get the marble out.
