tatsblisters 9,417
Just an update seen as I started the thread. After being pestered with text to sign up to attend the diabetes workshops I got a call from a woman from an organisation called second nature that's funded by us through the NHS and agreed on putting their app on my phone as she said notes from my doctor said I was high risk and mentioned the number 46 they have sent me a sett of digital scales and a recipe book and other leaflets the scales you pair with your phone. The state the NHS is in it's made me feel slightly guilty as I believe money this organisation is getting could be spent better elsewhere.

Vodka and diet coke..zero carbs Tennents lager..zero carbs. Her indoors is diabetic and drinks this combination. I'm trying to persuade her to take it intravenously, much cheaper. After just being on holiday abroad and drinking moderately but most mornings feeling like shite I would sooner give alcohol a miss.
