Popular Post THE STIFFMEISTER 15,608
When I was a younger man , I had two 9 feet by 15 ft runs in the garden with kennels , running water , side by side with all my dog related stuff behind 2 inch mesh . inside them I had my dogs , two in particular , were and capable of “ turning the switch “ . I was always very particular about my dogs , I never bought shite or took a gamble , instead , I bought and trained with quality animals who at the drop of a hat day or night would turn living wildlife into meat . I kept running dogs , terriers and other working breeds . In 30 years I had two kennel fights ( a terrier annoying a female lurcher both times ) I moved the terrier to the wash house and that was it . I accidentally killed a local cat with a pack of lurchers by total accident , it was in the middle of a field and ran home . I went to the vets with it and paid the bill to put it down . lastly my two biggest and meanest lamping dogs tore a Rottweiler apart who came at them off the lead , I had mine leashed and asked the owner nicely to get his dog , he came the c**t so I slipped them . Que sera . the point I’m making is that in nearly three decades of owning dogs capable , with bull blood , patterdales , lurchers , of causing damage , I can count on one hand any trouble , Mainly minor incidents . Why ? cause I kept them properly , I didn’t go round acting the big un with them off leads or hissing them on stuff . I kept them well and properly , not for my safety , theirs. how many of these people have a proper lead ? Or a proper collar , or a a regime , a schedule , routine ? its all an act , I don’t care what anyone says , its all front, the need for a rough macho dog in the house . It’s pathetic imho . I have two children , a teenage girl and an autistic 6 year old boy . I wouldn’t dream about putting them in a situation where the dog needs “moved outside as it’s upset “ or to not be at home one night where Ragnar hasn’t had his ounces of meat and his nightly 4 mile stroll . instead we have dusty bun , a shih tzu , he is fine flopped on the couch amongst the kids , he sleeps on my daughters floor , my little boy walks him and we have all the crack of having a dog . going away for the day ? Throw him In the car staying out over night ? No worries through him to the neighbour, he’s fine . hasn’t had a walk , take him 800m round the block . the kids still get the responsibility and care needed and have the joy of a pet with no threats of life changing injuries . some people , genuinely get what they deserve with owning a bull type dog , they haven’t the gumption or brains to deal with it . I’ve had Rottweilers at 55 kgs that don’t have the strength or pull of him … few mins of playing tug with stein and you don’t need the gym … I thought you said your dog is saluki lurcher cross staff?!! Mostly, as far as I can tell, they are a drug dealer's bargaining tool. As in, they don't give a f**k as to who they sell/loan them out to, as long as they are getting money back off them, regardless if they will attack/kill people, so long as they get their FILTHY f***ing DRUG MONEY!!!
gnasher16 30,024
Never really understood why anyone would put that type of dog into a pet home environment....to me it just shows a basic lack of understanding of dogs in general......sad state of play when peoples ego's get the better of their common sense. 8

Happens all the time, gnash. Look at the amount of totally unsuitable dog owners there are now, just in the uk. Beggars belief, wasn't like this in the 70's and 80's.

Morons Great wright up, and nice pic stiff. I know exactly what you mean with people having dogs, who shouldn't own gold fish never mind a dog. As your know from lot of my posts over the years. I was brought up with bill needs. That's old time staffs, that more like few pits today, tall agile, staffs, my old man looked after them mostly he only walk them on a lead, and never loose them of in a public place, as he knew if they ki kef of on somebody pet type dog, they do real damages to them.well I grew up the same way, with my pit pitch I had, and few bull mastiffs I had who could be bit iffy round other dogs, always ket on leads.know where I live now near Hereford, we got common ground. Not bad walk, but very popular with dog walkers.knpw I've said now the amount of dogs that tried to kick on Buck my 1x gsd grey, he never been.fighter with other dogs, rather back away from them. I've had. Labs, doberman , and another pure gsd trying to have a go, labs been the worst. Take tonight I seen the coule with this lookin Dob loose so I had to criss the road walk for 15 mins on road till they passed off.old Buck 12 now. Got that lump on is side, so the last thing I need a dog attacking him now, he like we both to old for this shit now, I've had this now living here a good 6 years on and off with dogs trying go at him these tossers . It been the last 2 years now that I wish I had that pit pitch I had back then or one of a our old time staffs, that when loose there dogs on to old Buck , I slip one of them.but I know I get done with breed like that, it only wishful thinking really , but you can see how get your back up, it bloody wrong you can't take your well be haved dog out because of people should never own a dog. And even when he was young and killing stuff. He do a Charlie with couple bites , he never picked on another dog, if did he bloody wreak them. If he grabb them with his size. I be bloody glad when I can leave this place and move back to South staffs deff.

Arry I don't know the proper law about these xl bully's etc, but surely, with the amount of attacks/killings etc in the last couple of years by this type of dog, why the f**k ain't the authorities banning them COMPLETELY, never mind 'licensing' exemptions etc etc,!!! Totally BAN THE c**ts!!!
