A child ,old  person etc, would have been hurt quick deff, I've seen what  45 lb old time staffs can do quick, never mind these big breeds.them xlbully  things just to dangerous  to be around  kids etc deff. And I reckon these big flock guarding types be next,  similar  to  the one had go at Buck.

Bring back the toy poodle/cocker spaniel composites. That's all I used to see round here post Covid after years of conflict with owners of dog aggressive labs and such. Loved the cock-a- poos. Even if they had a go they could be easily kicked into touch or flipped by a terrier.

The trend seems to be going back to bigger dogs now. Got 4 problem dogs/owners on the go now:

A very large show type Stafford but possibly AB blood - do you know his breeding? He's a rescue. Is he OK with other dogs? He's rescue (FFS!)

An EBT - are you sure he's OK with other dogs? He's a rescue.

A GSD - not a rescue, the couple who own it have had it from a pup. Seen it grow and become ever increasingly dodgy with other dogs. They ignored my friendly advice until it tried to kill another neighbour's Patterdale. But they still let it off the lead in places where other people walk their dogs. However it is put on the lead when they see me, the other neighbours should also have words but don't.

The latest - size, shape and colour of a Rhodesian Ridgeback. Has the ridge to its coat so obviously that way bred but a bit heavier and a head size and shape of a bull mastiff. How's he bred? He's a rescue. OK with other dogs? He's a rescue. FFS. Only about 8 month but I see trouble ahead.

A lot of the blame must lay with the rescue shelters. I am a dog lover, but many of these things should be PTS rather than sold to clueless fuckwits. 

No problems tonight though. Big bangs and flashing lights. Most people's pet dogs around here will be having anxiety attacks, hiding under the furniture and pissing and shitting themselves. Took my vulnerable to attack (hard as nails but there is only so much weight you can give away?) 14" TTS, 18lb, 14 year old terrier for his usual walk and he never so much as flinched.
