Deker 3,478
Help....I've got a pair of decent buckle up wellies that I hardly ever wear, what I almost always use is a real cheap pair from Homebase, B&Q etc..you get the picture. Well, my last pair have had their day so I splashed out about £10 for a new pair just after Christmas. I'm now getting 2 little dirty spots appearing on the socks due to 2 tiny leaks. I'm pretty sure I punctured then a few days back kicking brambles out of the way. Question is, how about sticking something like an inner tube patch on top...any ideas. I know they were only cheap but my previous pair lasted for years and I walked hundreds of miles in them so I'd like to try a repair here if I could! Your advice appreciated! SNAP SHOT 194
GO into any watersports shop and ask for black witch, it's a neoprene compound that harden's but is still flexable, I bought a new pair of wellies at €90 and got a hole in the sole standing on some blackthorn. BlacK witch to the rescue........ messy stuff though.......

Deker 3,478
Plastic bags in the boots...good tip, I like that, but I think I will try a repair. And...... yes I'm poor and need to prioritise, £10 on boots or 4 pints down the local (only 3 in some)...just let me think about that a minute...
