Day out Retrieving Hares?

Recommended Posts

I would like to give my whippet a good run on hares next season. Any offers of a day out? am near Edinburgh but would make a trip down south.

Also, if any Scottish guys fancy a run PM me.

PM me if you are genuine. Looking at Next season now.

Cheers

I will have a day through your way with you next season if this pup Ive got makes the grade  . I have permission for a couple of bits for whiteys but to be honest I wouldnt waste time taking a whippet on them as they are heavy going and I think the wee dog would probably struggle to do a full shift. Sorry if that offends just speaking from experience

Na seriously, I dont get offended easy.

Yea that would be good. Has your bitch had her litter yet?

Not sure how the whippet will fare but am hoping to give her a blast anyway.

Its 7 weeks this week since I mated her and she has put on a bit of weight, but not anything significatn to suggest she is in pup. I could be wrong and she might drop one or two on her due date, but her tits havent come down and usually at least the back 2 have dropped by 7 weeks so its looking not likely :(

No I wont be lining her again, shes 8 and has allready had a couple of litters and not produced anything suitable so If she hasnt taken to this dog, there is nothing else I would put her to. Some dogs do well in the field, but not as producers, its just something that happens unfortunately
